Now the SSBB is released in Japan and that the full roster's revealed, I might as well reveal my thoughts about the whole thing.

A good number of the hidden characters still seem to be clones: Either Sakurai didn't quite live up to this or the characters were rushed. As for the unlocked characters:
Marth: YAAAAAAAAAAAY!! His final smash is reminiscent of the final blow on the last boss of his game, from what I've seen.

Jigglypuff: Pretty much the same, but growing large like Giga Bowser for the Final Smash? I thought a concert with Sing and one large Wake-up Slap would've been nice.

Falco/Wolf: From what I've seen, very dissapointing. Both use Landmasters: Does Star Wolf even HAVE tanks? Falco would've been better in an Arwing, and Wolf could've signaled his allied over, got in his Wolven, and shot everything that moved. That's my two cents.

R.O.B: . . .I still can't see it as a serious fighter.

Lucario: I want to try this guy. Seems a little slow though.
Toon Link: Using Link's exact moves, but a different coat of paint. BORING!
Mr. Game & Watch: No change. . .

Ness: They should've made Lucas more unique. Oh well, I'm not the developer.

Luigi: They also should've given him the vacuum, and a Final Smash that doesn't look like Luigi's high on something.

Captain Falcon: Never liked him before, and I still don't like him now. Moving on.

Ganondorf: WHAT?! Clone again? Come on Nintendo! Make this guy unique with attacks from other Zelda games!

Personally, I would've loved to see in Brawl:
Lloyd from Tales of Symphonia (his moves scream to be in Brawl and you know it, including the use of Falcon's Crest with the cut-in for the Final Smash)

Isaac or Felix from the Golden Sun games. They're just a no-brainer in my eyes.

Krystal from Star Fox could've made use of her staff and be more unique (and added more females to the roster)

Eagle from the Advance Wars titles might be good too, hopefully not a Fox clone like Falco is.

Heck, even Luke or Anise from Tales of the Abyss would've been good, even though they're not Nintendo characters.
I might have a longer list, but I'll list it some other time.
